Family Violence Intervention Program
This 24-week psychoeducational program is designed to help individuals take responsibility and accountability for their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We take a holistic approach to stop immediate abuse and violence, encourage accountability, and address the transgenerational constructs of family violence. Our session topics include but are not limited to healthy communication, conflict resolution, identifying and stopping violent behaviors, the impact of violence on families, emotional intelligence, and challenging beliefs and values that foster violence. The ultimate goal of a Family Violence Intervention Program is to effect lasting behavioral change, reduce the risk of future violence, and contribute to the overall safety and well-being of all family members involved.
