Family Violence Intervention Program
This is a 24-week program that is completed by attending a virtual, 90-minute class each week. Our session topics include but are not limited to healthy communication, conflict resolution, identifying and stopping violent behaviors, the impact of violence on families, emotional intelligence, and challenging beliefs and values that foster violence. The ultimate goal of a Family Violence Intervention Program is to effect lasting behavioral change, reduce the risk of future violence, and contribute to the overall safety and well-being of all family members involved. Enrollment may be court-ordered or recommended after an evaluation. Registration and intake are required before class is attended. During intake, participants will review and sign program rules and schedule their first class.
Our program and group facilitators are certified by the Georgia Commission on Family Violence.
The registration fee is required at the time of registration and there is a fee for each class attended.
